No, it isn't a generator. It can't do all the same things that a permanent diesel or LPG installed unit can do. But with some expansion batteries you can power the essentials and even get some small AC units to run for awhile with this system. Not to mention it is portable and requires no fuel. These systems are getting better every year with battery technology and we now stock and carry their whole product line to offer as an option when a permanent installation isn't a good fit. The smaller solar generators are great options to take camping or bullynetting too!

Some pretty decent storms rolled through yesterday and some outages to follow. FKEC and Keys Energy have these outage maps available on their site to show the affected areas. You want to stay powered up through these small occurrences, or maybe stay primed for a larger disruption...we have you covered! From 800 sq ft to 8,000 sq ft, nothing too big or small for us to cover.

One of the whole home generators we just closed out permits on in Islamorada. With only one side needed to open for service on these new units we have a lot more options for landscaping and locating larger units closer to the home by code. Paired with 300 gals of propane this should keep them covered for a little bit when the storms roll through. We can handle all of the permitting and installation for electrical and gas side. Keeping your generator running on a weekly schedule and blocking all available entry ways into the housing, that's the only way to prevent rodents from making homes with your generator wiring insulation. This PSA is from Islamorada Power and we will make sure your generator is protected from unwanted guests as part of our maintenance agreement. (No animals were harmed in this eviction).
