Position Overview
We're hiring a Draft System Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for professional beer line cleaning, system maintenance, and ensuring our clients' draft systems operate at peak performance. You'll work directly with bar and restaurant owners, breweries, and venue managers to maintain the quality that makes their draft programs profitable. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training—no prior draft system experience required.
Key Responsibilities
-Perform professional cleaning and sanitization of draft beer systems, lines, and components using industry-standard techniques and equipment
-Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to identify system issues or potential problems
-Troubleshoot and resolve draft system malfunctions and line flow issues
-Document all service work, maintenance records, and compliance reports accurately
-Communicate clearly with clients about system condition, maintenance schedules, and recommendations
-Train clients' staff on proper pouring techniques and glassware handling when needed
-Follow health and safety regulations, including brewery and health department standards
-Maintain professionalism and reliability—you represent Top Level Draft Solutions on every job
Required Qualifications
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (willing to travel within 1.5-hour radius of Tawas)
-Ability to work independently and manage your time efficiently
-Professional communication and customer service skills
-Willingness to learn and commitment to quality workmanship
-Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and work in various environments
-Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Option A – Experienced Candidates:
-2+ years of experience in draft beer system cleaning, maintenance, or beverage service
-Certification in beverage dispensing system maintenance
-Background in the hospitality or beverage service industry
-Knowledge of compliance and health department regulations for beverage service
Option B – Training Path (No Experience Required):
-Technical or mechanical background (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, automotive, etc.)
-Previous customer service or field service experience
-Eagerness to learn the draft beer industry
-Reliability and commitment to professional development
