Another one wrapped up on the lake. 🌊
We poured a new driveway and sidewalks to clean up the entrances, improve access around the house, and give everything a fresh, finished look. A lot of the time, simple broom-finished concrete makes the biggest difference — clean, durable, and built to be used every day.
We also added walkways around the home and out toward the gazebo, making the space more functional while keeping the views the main focus.

Another beautiful project wrapped up for a friend of ours in the excavation world.
This patio was poured for someone we work alongside once in a while, and who has always been willing to help us out when we need it. It felt good to be able to do something nice for him and his family. Hopefully this gives them a place to relax a little and enjoy their home.
For this one, we used an Arizona Flagstone stamp with Sandy Buff integral color, Walnut borders, and Walnut antique. We also acid stained individual stones to bring out more depth and variation throughout the patio. That extra detail does add to the cost, but it makes a huge difference in the finished look.
And of course, those little handprints might just be the best kind of stamped concrete. Those are the details that make a project personal.

🌊 Lake Huron views, multiple elevations, tight access, and a whole lot of square footage. 🌊
This waterfront project had a little bit of everything.
We started by pouring a 20' x 20' raised covered porch, then tied everything together with decorative concrete throughout the property. The main color is Coal Light with Midnight Grey highlights and borders, creating a sharp contrast that looks right at home on the shoreline.
One of the biggest challenges was the existing steps. Rather than removing them and risking damage to the boathouse structure, we chose to overlay the steps, giving them a completely updated look while keeping everything stable and secure.
Between the demolition, multiple elevations, waterfront conditions, and areas that were anything but easy to access, this project kept our crews on their toes from start to finish. The end result was well worth the effort.

Showing some love to these two patios with a clean and fresh coat of sealer. Royal Ashlar looks great on any level and its easy to see why its our top pattern choice. Just a beautiful job all around.
We also lost about 20lbs each dragging equipment and ourselves up and down that hill.😄

Island jobs always come with a few extra challenges… this one included hauling every load across a bridge that the redi-mix trucks couldn’t cross, then buggying the concrete the rest of the way in.
Definitely not the easiest pour, but the view made it worth it. 🌊☀️
