Landmark Irrigation began operations in 1976 as Sutter Heating and Electric, owned and operated by Steve Sutter. In March of 1990 Steve became a dealer for Valmont Irrigation. Two years later in 1992 it was incorporated as Sutter Electric, Inc. In the fall of 1997 Sutter Electric began operating as Landmark Irrigation. The name change reflects the streamline of operations, dealing specifically on

center pivot irrigation and field drain tile systems. Landmark Irrigation has always strived to be on the cutting edge of technology, by adapting the latest GPS equipment and software.
