Bourbon County Sports Complex, Paris Ky

What I see: Lessons I learned here will stay with me forever. This place challenged Origin and myself, more than I have ever been challenged in this profession. I see the imperfections, the lost time, the money, the late nights, the sacrifices, and the mental load.

But standing at home plate I can’t help but to think what every child and teen is going to see for decades to come.

Back in September, Eric was involved in a rollover that could’ve easily taken his life. Heavy equipment. Soft ground. The kind of situation that goes wrong fast.

He still carries the scars. The ground out there is still rutted from that day.

Today, he’s fully recovered and back on his feet.

This one meant something to me.

In the first 2.5 years of building this company, we’ve had some close calls that will stay with me forever.

That’s part of growing fast in a dangerous trade but it also comes with responsibility.

It forced us to take a hard look at how we operate.

So today we slowed down and put the tools down.
Ran CPR, AED, and first aid training with the crew.

Proud of this team for stepping up.

We’re building this company the right way and we’re getting better every day.
