My first time teaching "The Handy Homeowner" course was incredibly rewarding. Seeing my students come to class each week excited to learn and put their newfound skills into practice was exactly what I was hoping for when I created the curriculum...I'm looking forward to expanding the course to more local schools next semester!

This was a fun little weekend project. We demolished and installed a new kitchen for a new client. This was particularly tricky because the design drawings didn’t accurately capture the existing conditions of the old kitchen. There was also a lot of hidden infrastructure to work around (wiring, piping, heating systems etc) but we pulled it off. Our client is one step closer to cooking her grandkids their favorite meals and that makes us feel pretty darn good 😊. Shoutout to for the referral ⚡️

A rainy Sunday and my daughter taking an extended afternoon nap afforded me the time to wallpaper our bathroom. The next step is to install board and batten underneath the wallpaper to elevate this tiny bathroom to new heights 🔨 🛠️ 👍

My lovely wife asked me to get the guest room ready for painting this week. I found a little bit of mold in the back of a closet and cut back the sheet rock to find some pretty extensive damage from an active leak. Cutting a hole in my house wasn’t on my to-do list this week but sometimes you gotta cut a hole in your house! I still have to replace the rotted rafters and button it all up but it’s been a fun 48 hours. I’m so grateful my dad taught me how to do this work myself 💪
