Empire Paving’s Alisha Wright Named One of Arizona’s People to Know in Business Development for 2027
Empire Paving & Maintenance is proud to announce that Alisha Wright, Business Development Manager, has been selected by AZ Big Media as one of five People to Know in Business Development for 2027.
The recognition is part of AZ Big Media’s annual People & Projects to Know (PTK) publication, highlighting influential professionals and projects helping shape Arizona’s commercial real estate industry.
With nearly 20 years of experience in construction and more than a decade in the asphalt industry, Wright brings a unique perspective to business development. Her career has included project coordination, project management, sales, client relations, scheduling, and long-term pavement planning—experience that allows her to understand both the operational and relationship sides of the business.
For Wright, business development has never been simply about making a sale. Her approach is centered on building genuine relationships, educating clients, understanding their challenges, and becoming a trusted resource.
Wright has played an integral role in Empire Paving’s growth and brand development, strengthening relationships with property managers, community managers, facility managers, and industry partners throughout Arizona. Her philosophy is simple: recommend what is right for the client, provide options, communicate transparently, and allow trust to drive long-term partnerships.
Her involvement in the industry extends beyond Empire. Wright is a Past President of the Greater Phoenix Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and is passionate about supporting and creating opportunities for women in construction.
While the recognition carries her name, Wright views it as a reflection of the entire Empire team.
