Arizona Luxury Lawn & Putting Greens exceeded our expectations from start to finish. I rarely write reviews—positive or negative—but when a company and the people behind it impress me this much, I think they deserve to be recognized.
From the moment Nick came out to give us an estimate, we knew we were dealing with someone who really knew what he was doing. He was already familiar with our HOA requirements and arrived with the correct turf samples and answers to our questions. We had another artificial turf company give us an estimate as well, and the difference was night and day. They weren't familiar with our HOA requirements and even brought the wrong turf samples. Nick was completely prepared.
But what really impressed me happened before I even had a chance to ask one of my biggest questions.
Nick took one look at our driveway and walkway and immediately noticed that the existing pavers had sunk and become uneven because the ground underneath had not been properly compacted when the house was built. Before I could even bring it up, he asked me, essentially, "You're going to fix these pavers before we install the turf, right?"
That was exactly what I had planned to ask him.
Nick explained that installing beautiful new turf before correcting the pavers would be doing things backwards. His analogy was perfect: the turf is like the carpet in a house—it goes in last. First, you fix everything underneath and around it correctly, and then you install the finished product.
What impressed me even more was that the representative from the other turf company had walked through the exact same property and never noticed or mentioned the paver problem.
Nick immediately had a plan. His crew would remove the pavers, remove the failed material underneath, bring in the proper base material, compact it correctly, and reinstall and level the pavers. Only after the pavers and borders were right would they install the artificial turf.
And that's exactly what they did.
The installation crew was outstanding—professional, efficient, meticulous, and clearly proud of their work. This wasn't a crew simply trying to finish a job and move on. They paid attention to the details and did things the right way. Nick stayed in communication with us throughout the entire project and personally checked on the work every day to make sure everything was being done properly.
The finished product is absolutely beautiful. The pavers look great, the turf looks fantastic, and the entire front yard now looks the way it should have looked from the beginning.
What separates Arizona Luxury Lawn & Putting Greens, in my opinion, is that they weren't interested in simply selling us artificial turf. Nick looked at the entire project, immediately identified a significant problem that needed to be corrected first, explained why it mattered, and made sure everything was done in the proper order.
As I said, I don't normally write reviews. It takes an exceptional experience for me to take the time to write one, and this was one of those experiences. From Nick's knowledge, honesty and communication to the quality and precision of the installation crew, Arizona Luxury Lawn & Putting Greens absolutely knocked it out of the park.
I couldn't recommend them more highly.
