Another great year at the Arizona Construction Expo!

We loved being part of the event as a Gold Sponsor, but what we enjoyed most was getting to see so many of the people who are part of our work every day. From longtime trade partners we’ve worked alongside for years to new connections, it was great to catch up, share a conversation, and see so many familiar faces in one place.

We appreciate everyone who stopped by our booth and spent some time with our team. These relationships are a such big part of what makes the construction industry so rewarding!

A new chapter is coming for the Wickenburg Community Center - and Caliente Construction is proud to partner with the Town of Wickenburg, AZ - Your Local Government, with our team now mobilized on site and renovations officially underway!

Originally built in 1970, this longtime community gathering space is ready for a transformation. The full-scope renovation will modernize the 11,000+ square-foot facility with structural and building system upgrades, ADA accessibility improvements, new fire alarm and sprinkler systems, and an updated commercial kitchen.

The project will also create more flexible spaces for weddings, meetings, concerts, and community events, including a new banquet room and enclosed patio. New building systems will improve energy efficiency and operational reliability, while updated accessibility and life safety features will enhance the experience for everyone who uses the facility.

We’re excited to help bring new life to this important community space while preserving its role in Wickenburg’s local heritage for years to come!

Another meaningful project has wrapped for the Caliente team, and we are proud to have helped enhance a facility that supports care in our community!

As we close out National Health Center Week, we are especially grateful for the opportunity to partner with Valleywise Health on the modernization of the Guadalupe Community Health Center in Tempe. This project included selective demolition and interior renovations to the lobby, primary care rooms, lab, and restrooms, as well as the addition of a new exterior canopy, fresh paint, front entrance hardscaping, site improvements, and coordinated architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical upgrades.

From early demolition through final construction, we are proud to have delivered improvements that support the important work happening inside this facility and the community it serves!

Our Caliente Construction team had a great time at the 2026 ASA Annual Beers & Balls Bowling Tournament, enjoying some friendly competition while connecting with the subcontractor partners who play such a vital role in our success.

Spending the evening alongside our valued trade partners and industry peers outside the office is always a great reminder of the strong relationships that drive our work forward. And bringing home this year’s tournament trophy was the perfect way to cap off a fun night!

Thank you to the American Subcontractors Association of Arizona for hosting another great event and creating opportunities that bring Arizona’s construction community together.

At last week's annual AFCA/AFDA Fire & EMS Leadership Conference and Expo, our team had a great opportunity to connect with the people who keep our communities safe - and we were proud to sponsor and exhibit!

From engaging conversations with fire service and emergency response leaders to reconnecting with familiar faces and building new relationships, we appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the challenges, priorities, and future needs of departments across Arizona.

A big thank you to AFCA/AFDA for hosting another impactful event, and to everyone who stopped by to spend time with our team.

Caliente Construction is wrapping up a project with Arizona State University at the University Services Building, and it’s great to see this one come together!

The work included upgrades to first-floor office spaces along with a full remodel of the President’s Office, mechanical, electrical, data, flooring, doors & frames, millwork, plumbing, and ceiling systems across the 18,000+ square-foot space. These improvements were designed to help modernize and enhance the functionality of the building, creating updated workspaces with new workstations and technology that better support ASU’s students, faculty, and staff in their day-to-day work and operations.

It’s been exciting to see the work from our team of Brandon, Chad, and Jessica, come together and get the space ready for use. We always appreciate the opportunity to partner with ASU on projects that support their campus community, and this was a fun one for the team to be part of!

What an exciting week as our team gathered alongside SRP and project partners to witness a major milestone — the demolition of the historic Crosscut Campus Steam Building!

Originally constructed in 1938, the Steam Building has long been part of SRP’s legacy. Seeing its removal marks a significant transition, as we make way for the future while recognizing the impact of what stood before and on Arizona's communities.

With demolition now underway, our team is focused on safely preparing the site for what’s next—the development of two new buildings that will support the consolidation and expansion of SRP’s operations. This transformational project will bring modern, efficient facilities to the campus and help position SRP for continued growth.

A big thank you to Salt River Project and our partners DFDG Architecture and BCS Enterprises, Inc. for the collaboration and shared commitment to this project. We’re proud to be part of this next chapter.
