Our seven competitors gave it their all, competing with pride and determination from start to finish. We couldn’t be more proud of this incredible group!

The winner will be announced on May 20th at the 2026 Spring Graduation—stay tuned!

Get excited—this is just the beginning!

IEC is thrilled to announce our brand new Student Lounge for apprentices!

This space was created just for them—with comfortable seating to relax, a dedicated area to tackle schoolwork, a growing mini library, and easy access to charge your devices. Everything is designed with their success and comfort in mind!

We’re still adding a few finishing touches, but we couldn’t wait to open it—especially as the Arizona weather starts heating up!

IEC of Arizona and Summit Electric Supply kicks off the 23rd Annual Wire-Off & Trade Show, taking place on Thursday, April 9, 2026! This high-energy event will feature our 4th-year apprentices competing head-to-head, showcasing the skills they’ve worked hard to master over four years in the IEC Apprenticeship Program. The stakes are high—there can only be ONE winner!

The local Wire-Off champion will advance to the IEC National “SPARK” Expo in Columbus, Ohio in October 2026, where they’ll represent Arizona in the National Wire-Off. Competing in the IEC Wire-Off isn’t just impressive—it’s a major career highlight. Adding this achievement to a resume (especially with a national appearance) proves they’re the real deal. And strong resumes lead to even stronger futures!
