Canyon State Electric The Electricians Who Can — your single-source solution for electrical construction in Arizona. 100% employee-owned.

Canyon State Electric is the single-source solution for electrical construction services in the Southwest. Founded in 1978 by Steven Maderazzo, CSE is now led by CEOs Stephanie Maderazzo-Hughes and Christopher Maderazzo. The company's single location is headquartered in Phoenix, AZ, where nearly 100 electrical, life safety, and maintenance experts serve the surrounding community. Canyon State Electric understands the challenges contractors, developers, and business owners face from design to project closeout. Using innovative virtual design and construction techniques, CSE builds more stable structures while saving money and shortening project timelines. A business relationship with CSE doesn't end when a construction project is complete— Canyon State Electric protects your investment for years to come. Canyon State Electric's design-build construction method makes it possible to complete projects even faster with fewer external contracts. Electrical construction experts manage everything in-house— design, engineering, and coding approvals, eliminating the typical cost and schedule growth common with other building methods. Clients have seen quicker delivery speeds with lower unit costs through design-build projects. When you partner with Canyon State Electric on a project, your investment strengthens the community. CSE creates more sustainable structures while supporting charities with local initiatives like the American Heart Association, Phoenix Children's Hospital, and Feed My Starving Children. With a trustworthy partner like Canyon State Electric, you can produce longer-lasting structures, increase revenue, and fortify your client relationships.

Strong relationships help build a stronger industry. 🥊

Our Canyon State Electric team joined fellow industry professionals at CREDA Arizona's Night at the Fights, connecting with the people and organizations behind commercial real estate and construction projects across the Valley.

Opportunities like these remind us that great projects start with strong partnerships. We enjoyed reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting new ones, and spending an evening with the industry we proudly serve.

Thank you to CREDA Arizona for hosting and bringing everyone together!

The details you don't always notice are often the ones that reveal the most about the work behind a building.

From precisely routed conduit runs to organized power distribution systems, these installations reflect the planning, coordination, and craftsmanship required to bring complex electrical infrastructure together.

Every bend, connection, and pathway has a purpose. Getting those details right takes experience, attention to detail, and a team that understands how each component fits into the bigger picture.

At Canyon State Electric, this is the kind of work our electricians take pride in. Not because every installation will be seen, but because the quality of their work matters long after construction is complete.

It's a closer look at the craftsmanship behind The Electricians Who Can.

Five consecutive years. Built by our employee-owners. 🏆

Canyon State Electric has once again been named one of Arizona's Most Admired Companies by BestCompaniesAZ and AZ Big Media, marking our fifth consecutive year receiving this recognition.

Awards like this recognize more than business performance. They reflect the leadership, workplace culture, innovation, community involvement, and relationships that define an organization.

At CSE, those qualities start with our people.

As a 100% employee-owned company, every member of our team has a stake in what we're building together. From the field to the office, our employee-owners help shape our reputation through the work they deliver, the relationships they build, and the standards they uphold.

That recognition reflects something we're especially proud of: a company culture our employee-owners continue to strengthen every day.

Congratulations to our entire CSE team and all of this year's honorees!

The decisions made on a jobsite can have lasting consequences. The right training helps people make those decisions with greater knowledge, confidence, and an understanding of what's at stake.

Through the University of Canyon State Electric (UCSE), we're making practical safety education accessible to professionals across Arizona's construction industry.

From OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 to CPR and QPR Gatekeeper Training, our instructor-led courses focus on knowledge that extends well beyond the classroom. Recognizing hazards, responding to emergencies, and looking out for the people working alongside you are skills that matter at every stage of a career.

These opportunities aren't limited to CSE employees. Individuals and teams from across the industry are welcome to participate.

A safer construction industry starts with people who are prepared.

Sky Harbor Logistics is taking shape from the ground up. ⚡

Canyon State Electric is proud to partner with Willmeng Construction, Inc. on this 252,490 SF industrial development featuring two core and shell buildings and tenant improvements across multiple suites.

With underground electrical work now complete for both Service Entrance Sections (SES), our teams are shifting their focus to roughing in electrical boxes and wall packs for the building's tilt-up concrete panels.

As construction progresses, this early electrical work is laying the foundation for the systems that will power and support the completed facilities. Each phase requires careful coordination to ensure everything is in place before the panels are raised.

Some of the most important electrical work happens before there's a building to see. This aerial view offers a look at the scale of the development and the progress already underway.

October is ESOP Month, and at Canyon State Electric, ownership means more.

Every project we complete, every problem we solve, and every win we earn is powered by the people who own this company.

Being 100% employee-owned means our team isn’t just building CSE’s future. We have a stake in it.

This month, we’re celebrating the employee-owners who make Canyon State Electric what it is today and continue pushing us toward what’s next.

A project rooted in Arizona history.

As America recognizes 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Arizona’s Liberty Bell has a renewed home at the State Capitol, built to preserve its significance for generations to come.

Canyon State Electric was proud to work alongside Sundt Construction, completing the underground electrical infrastructure supporting the new monument.

Projects like this are a reminder that construction is about more than what gets built. It’s about creating spaces and landmarks that carry a story forward.

We’re proud to have played a part in preserving this one.

Built on ownership. Powered by the people who make it happen.

At Canyon State Electric, being 100% employee owned means every project, every milestone, and every win has a direct connection to the people behind the work.

Our employee owners do not just show up to build great projects. They are building something of their own.

That ownership mindset drives accountability, pride, and a higher standard in everything we do.

Employee-powered. Employee-owned.
