Freitag-Weinhardt leadership team had a chance to blow off some steam at the annual Wabash Valley Athletics Assoc. trap shoot at Coal Creek Sporting Clays in West Terre Haute. All had a great time with no loss of fingers or hearing. WVAA promotes education-based athletics by fostering a seamless pipeline of athletes from youth sports through high school. They identify challenges and enhance the student athlete experience.

Carson has been an Accounting Intern with Freitag-Weinhardt since May while pursuing a degree in Finance. Looking to gain real-world accounting experience and learn more about the construction industry, Carson joined the team after hearing great things about the internship from a friend. His favorite part of the experience has been seeing how everything comes together behind the scenes. From working on real projects to learning how accounting helps keep operations running smoothly, every day has brought new opportunities to grow.

Carson sees each day as a chance to learn, take on new challenges, and make a positive impact on the team. He enjoys contributing in meaningful ways and values the opportunity to build skills that will prepare him for his future career.

Outside of work, Carson enjoys working out, golfing, playing cards, watching the Colts and Pacers, and spending time with family and friends.

His advice for anyone new to the mechanical contracting industry: "Don't be afraid to ask questions and take every opportunity to learn. If you work hard and stay on task, you'll learn something new every day."
