Update on our latest retaining wall 😊 Nearly finished with this monster.

What originally started as a wooden railroad timber wall with some serious drainage issues has been updated with Clifton block and a new drainage system that will help prevent erosion on the slope and keep the wall intact.

Working on a slope like this with a lake at the bottom has certainly presented us with its own set of challenges, but we’re pretty proud of the results 👍🏼 everything is “figure-out-able”

This perennial garden was installed towards the end of the growing season last year, but boy, did it show up and show out this year! The hummingbirds are sure to love the Husker’s Red Penstemon and the ever so important bees cannot get enough of this native Blue Hyssop!

It’s hard to believe that these photos are of the same place 🤯 as soon as we took over this property, the team and I had a vision of what this place could be with just a little bit of hard work and imagination.
