Did you know that our team also specializes in industrial builds?

Through the RFQ process, CDI, Inc. was chosen as the General Contractor for the Aisin Brake & Chassis Terre Haute facility. This project included construction of a 126,000 SF manufacturing area and 30,000 SF office area, along with site development, within an aggressive project schedule of seven months beginning in mid-fall. The building construction is conventional steel framing with pre-cast wall panels. The floor slabs in the manufacturing area are reinforced with steel fibers and finished using reflective white, shake-on hardener. Despite approximately a six-week delay in contract documents, CDI, Inc. managed to have the roofing completed within nine weeks from beginning foundations, accelerating the original overall project target schedule. The entire project was completed approximately six weeks ahead of the target schedule.

This project featured a custom build-out for Culver's, featuring a kitchen and dining space, expansive outdoor covered patio, three seasons room, green space for outdoor games like jenga, fenced dog park, and solar panel installation.

The Vigo County History Center is a unique project based in Terre Haute, Indiana. Dedicated to preserving Vigo County's rich history, this project encompasses over 32,000 square feet and three floors including exhibitions, displays, and event spaces. The CDI team worked as the General Contractor managing the full restoration and build out of the museum.

The White Chapel, located on the campus of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, is one of the most architecturally unique structures in the Wabash Valley. Working as the construction manager for the project, CDI, Inc. managed the 5,800 square foot project from start to finish.

The White Chapel has been awarded numerous awards including the BKD Build Indiana Award for the Private Sector, Midwest Construction Project of the Year (Higher Education), and the American Architecture Award.

This architectural gem is a nondenominational place of worship for students and faculty and is open to the public for select services. The White Chapel also serves as one of the areas leading wedding venues for couples looking to tie the knot.

Today we are highlighting a past project at the Indiana State University campus right here in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Home of the ISU Sycamore Baseball team, Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stadium seats 2,000 fans and upgrades include new locker rooms, coaches offices, press box, and new dugouts.

Encompassing a 1,100 square foot addition and a 500 square foot renovation, this project makes Bob Warn field an exceptional home for the Division 1 baseball team.
