Breaking ground on a new home will never get old šŸ¤Ž

This is where the vision starts to take shape and dreams begin to feel real.

Over the next few months, this lot will transform quickly. Here’s what’s ahead:
•Site prep & foundation work
•Framing
•Rough-ins for plumbing, electrical & HVAC
•Roof material, windows & getting dried in

Behind the scenes our team is working just as hard! Working closely with our clients on selections, fine-tuning layouts, coordinating materials and subs, and making sure every detail is ready before it’s time to install. You don’t always see that part, but it’s what makes the finished home feel intentional and seamless.

Stay tuned! This is just the beginning.

How long does it really take to build a custom home?šŸ‘‡šŸ¼
We tell our clients to plan on 10-14 months from start to finish, with a max of 24 months (thanks to loan timelines).

But here’s what really affects your timeline ā¬‡ļø
Your selections + final details. The more decisions that are made upfront: fixtures, finishes, layouts, the smoother (and often faster) the build process goes.

And here’s the part most people don’t think about…
Even after you get your CO, plan for a few extra weeks so we can wrap up punch list items and make everything just right before move-in.

Good things take time, but a smooth build takes planning!

The biggest mistake people make when building a custom home… šŸ”

They start the build before they’ve really decided what they want.

Custom homes involve hundreds of decisions, and when those choices aren’t thought through ahead of time it can lead to delays, change orders, and unexpected costs.

Here’s how to prepare before breaking ground:

• Know your house plans. Study them so you understand the layout and how your family will live in the space.

• Work on your selections early. Start choosing plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures, appliances, lighting, hardware, and finishes beforehand.

• Have renderings created. Seeing your home visually before building helps you feel confident in your decisions.

• Tour other homes. Walk through local builds or visit the Parade of Homes to discover what you love (and what you don’t).

The more clarity you have going into the process, the more accurately your builder can price your home and the smoother the entire build will be.

Preparation makes all the difference in a custom build.

Every window in this home frames the Tetons like artwork. Safe to say this one never gets old.

Building a custom home is personal and we believe the process should feel that way too.

From our very first meeting to walk-throughs, to those final finishing details, we spend months working closely alongside our clients to bring their vision to life. That kind of collaboration naturally turns into something more than just a project timeline, it becomes a relationship built on trust, communication, and shared excitement for what’s to come.

We don’t take lightly that our clients invite us into such an important season of their lives. Our goal is always to ensure you feel heard, informed, and confident every step of the way because the experience of building your home should be just as meaningful as living in it.

Thank you to the incredible families who trust us with their homes šŸ¤
