The owner will be so happy to get their complete roofline sprayed with closed cell foam. There is only about a foot or so of clearance above the flat previously unacessible area.

Killing two birds with one stone. Maximum insulation and airsealing from the foam where batt or blown in would achieve and fall short of spray foams benefits.

Say good bye to ice dams and having to reinsulate down the road again. All existing insulation being removed. Feels great to help folks out with the best choice for insulation packaged with professional installation within their budget.

Closed cell foam complete and now it’s off to applying the open cell foam over top of the closed cell on the underside of the roof. Saves money on using all closed cell and it’s not cutting corners. V***r retarder achieved and beyond the code required R-value.

All of the benefits of an air sealed, energy efficient and quieter home. Sorry mice. Nothing to nest in here. (Between you and I, the neighbor has fiberglass) perfect for nesting. Don’t tell them I sent you.

Here is an historic Boathouse in Cambridge MA. A crew of ours at Anchor Insulation is working on. The building had no existing insulation and we are insulating her with 5” of closed cell foam in 5 1/2” rafters. (I did say “her” cause she’s beautiful)

The foam will be painted black with intumescent paint. Blue tape on bottom of the rafters because the client wishes to keep some of that historic charm.

The exterior walls are a full 6” studs with no insulation and later we are proposing on using dense packed Greenfiber cellulose to fill them. The bulk of the top floor is fitness areas and office spaces.

I love touching a piece of history. More to follow.

Spraying closed cell foam and intumescent paint above suspended ceilings 30 feet in the air and we couldn’t use lifts.

The above framing members allowed for studs to be installed. Allowing for an area to walk and spray the roofline.

Sprinkler pipes freezing, bursting and flooding stores will no longer be an issue.
Everyone knows those pipes need to be inside of conditioned space. Don’t take shortcuts that cost everyone time and money.

Including the attic in the thermal envelope of the home is hands down the best way to insulate the home. Those mechanicals will appreciate that and won’t have to work so hard therefore extending its life.

When you go into the attic to get something, you won’t break a sweat either. The attic is within a few degrees of the rooms below.

All of the benefits associated with spray foam insulation make it one of the wisest investments and home improvements you can make. You and your family will enjoy these benefits for a long time.

This project is the 5th referral from a previous customer. Once they witnessed the end results they told friends and family. That’s what friends are for……..
