Starting a complete cutout of this home to repair rotten and molded sub floors, joists and beam. Particle board was placed over this damage to allow for the recent flooring to be installed. Hiding the damage already done. All the floors in this home will be removed and the foundation rebuilt. Looks from the surface are deceiving, nice flooring doesn’t mean a good foundation. Water intrusion and poor ventilation is the cause here. Always inspect your crawl space periodically and don’t accept a band-aid over the damage.
