I had previously signed up to help out with mowing and trimming for the Texhoma community clean up today but with the storm that blew through last night it turned into a massive storm clean up event. We spent most of the day cutting and cleaning up trees on peoples properties. I teamed up with several awesome people today and we got some serious work done. Thank you to JATA Coffee Community for making lunch today! Thank you to The Texhoma Chamber of Commerce, City of Texhoma, Texas and anyone I may be missing for putting this together.

We removed two trees in Ulysses, KS this weekend. I have to to do better about getting the after pictures. The big one was mostly dead. It only took a couple hours. The wind fought us most of the morning with the tree next to the house but we got it rigged up and down. It’s amazing how much bigger these trees look once you get them on the ground.

In this line of work you tend to win some and you lose some. No other companies wanted to touch this tree due to the location. They all feared hitting the carport or fence. Everything was going great until the rigging/rope failed and we pulled down the power line to the house. TCEC came out along with Sims electric to get things back up and running. Thank you to those guys who came out yesterday to get the power back on to the house. Aside from that we got the tree down to where the customer wanted it without any additional major issues. The lift location was extremely tight we had little room for error in that area. This is why you hire an insured company to do your tree work. If the customer had hired someone who was not insured they could have been on the hook for this bill.

A little before and after of a clean up/ tree removal we did in Guymon over the weekend. Went pretty smooth aside from being a super hot day Saturday.

I feel incredibly fortunate, and I'm reminded that life is full of unexpected opportunities. A new lawn care client reached out, and although mowing lawns wasn't my initial focus, I took a chance and prayed for guidance. Their offer to provide a riding mower, which I could pay off through my work, was a testament to the power of faith. Before the mower arrived, I demonstrated my commitment by mowing their lawn with a push mower, investing three hours of hard work each week. I'm grateful for the answer to my prayer, even if it wasn't what I expected. If you're looking for reliable lawn care for your large property, I'm know a guy. 😁
