What we do at Max Painting is, on a face surface, we sell paint… paint jobs. We apply paint but really, the business that we’re in is in the business of light reflection. We actually manage light. If you get technical, we actually manage our photons, and how they hit your optic nerves. Right here, as we look at that, we see white truck, we see color, we see green, we see some orange, we see red. What we’re actually seeing is that guy over there [points upward to sun], a friendly sun, that’s undergoing nuclear fission / fusion; all sorts of stuff that are shooting an insane amount of particles (which are also waves) - look up the Particle Wave Duality Theory - and they’re hitting us at all times. Right now, it’s getting reflected off my shirt; you see it as blue (the shorter end of the spectrum of light).
We’re going to get in depth into, What actually is color? At the end of the day, that’s what we’re selling: we’re selling color to you. That’s what paint manufacturers are selling, furniture makers are selling, Hollywood is selling. That’s what you’re buying. That’s what you’re lookin’ at right now. If you’re seeing things, you’re seeing color. We’re gonna get real in depth into what actually color is, and how it affects your life every single day: how it changes your mood, how makes you feel good, makes you feel sad and everything that goes with that.
