"A cabinet refacing project can make your kitchen feel brand new—without changing everything about it.

By updating the cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and exterior finish, this homeowner gained a bright, tailored look that complements the rest of the space. If you’re happy with your kitchen’s layout, refacing could be the efficient upgrade you’ve been looking for: https://www.kitchentuneup.com/services/cabinet-refacing/ "

"Color does more than complete a kitchen—it shapes the way the space feels. ✨

A soft, light palette can feel airy and welcoming. A richer shade can create warmth, depth, and personality. The best choice is the one that reflects your home, your style, and the life happening in your kitchen.

"Custom cabinetry gave this kitchen the polished, practical upgrade it deserved. Crisp white cabinets, expansive drawers, a dedicated refrigerator surround, and an island built for cooking, gathering, and everyday life all work together beautifully.

🏔️❤️ Back from Oaxaca, Mexico and Grateful for the Experience

This past week, I had the privilege of traveling with Prestonwood Baptist Church to Tecaunapam, Mexico, a village high in the mountains of Oaxaca.

As the owner of Kitchen Tune-Up, I'm used to building and improving homes every day. This trip reminded me that construction is about much more than cabinets, countertops, and renovations. It's about serving people.

Our team spent the week helping build a home for a local pastor and family who faithfully serve their community. The work was challenging, the mountains were beautiful, and the people we met were incredibly welcoming.

We returned home Sunday tired, grateful, and inspired. I'm thankful for the opportunity to use the skills God has given me to help others and to serve alongside an amazing group of volunteers.

Thank you to everyone who prayed for our team while we were away. The experience is one I won't soon forget.

🔥 Kitchen Transformation Complete! 🔥

What a difference a few strategic modifications and a whole lot of hard work can make!

This project started with dark wood cabinetry and a closed-in look. We completely transformed the space by:

✅ Refinishing and repainting cabinetry
✅ Installing new shaker-style doors and drawer fronts
✅ Adding a custom island color for contrast
✅ Removing upper wall cabinets and replacing them with elegant crown molding
✅ Creating a cleaner, more open feel throughout the kitchen
✅ Updating cabinet functionality with custom modifications and storage solutions
✅ Finishing everything with a fresh, bright modern color palette

The result is a light, airy, custom kitchen that feels larger, brighter, and completely updated without a full cabinet replacement.

A huge thank you to the homeowners for trusting us with their vision. Swipe through to see the journey from prep work to the finished product!

Project inspiration and scope included cabinet redooring, custom cabinet modifications, crown molding installation, and a two-tone finish
