PSA: if you find yourself having to call a plumber to fix anything plumbing related at your home be sure to ask the person that shows up to see their state plumbing license before they start your work..it has become a serious issue in The Dalles of companies hiring young adults at a low wage and charging premium rates to perform your work. Any and all plumbing work needs to be done by a journeyman level licensed plumber or an apprentice directed by a journeyman (on site) period. They’re is nothing that states an owner of a company that has a plumbing license can over see unlicensed persons to perform plumbing related tasks. If said person were to flood your home or damage existing plumbing that said company or companies insurance would not cover the costs of repairs and you’d be stuck with the bill.. AGAIN remodels,new homes, small service calls anything related to plumbing must be done by a licensed plumber in Oregon, check and double check the persons before they perform your work, you’d be surprised how many people try to circumvent this law for their own greed.. Wishing folks the best with the current situation regarding the new pandemic. We would like to give a small service announcement about the toilet paper shortages. If you find yourself having to use baby wipes or any form of paper towels (even if they say flushable) they are not rated for our sewer systems. Avoid flushing anything other than toilet paper!!
