Gibson Construction Services**

Join Our Growing Heavy Civil Team

Gibson Construction Services is seeking a Project Estimator with road construction and utility experience to support our expanding workload across Mobile County and the Gulf Coast region.

Position: Project Estimator — Road & Civil Construction

Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for roadwork, utilities, earthwork, drainage, culverts, and sitework
• Analyze bid documents, plans, and specifications
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing
• Develop accurate cost estimates, schedules, and proposals
• Assist project managers with budgets and change orders
• Conduct site visits to evaluate conditions and constructability
• Work closely with leadership to pursue competitive bids and new opportunities

Qualifications
• 2+ years of estimating experience in road construction, utilities, or heavy civil work
• Strong understanding of Mobile County & ALDOT specs (preferred)
• Ability to read civil plans, cross sections, and profiles
• Proficient in estimating software (HCSS, Bluebeam, or similar)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and strong communicator
