Are the bugs getting to you this summer?

A screened porch can make a big difference in how much you actually get to enjoy your outdoor space. Plenty of covered room, an open view of the backyard, and screens to keep the mosquitoes and other pests from taking over.

This porch we completed is a great example of turning the back of a home into a space that can be enjoyed a whole lot more throughout the year.

Putting the final touches on this outdoor kitchen and poolside hangout.

This is going to be the perfect spot for family get-togethers, grilling by the pool, watching the game, and enjoying a little more time outside. We always like seeing spaces like this come together because they add so much more usable space to a home and give the homeowners a place they can really enjoy for years to come.

We’ve got several projects moving right along right now, with framing going up, details coming together, and a lot of work happening behind the scenes to keep everything moving in the right direction.

Framing is moving right along on the pond house. It’s always a good stage of the build when you can finally start walking through the rooms, seeing the layout, and getting a feel for what this place is going to be. Plenty more to come on this one.

Pouring the foundation is always a big milestone on a new build. This is where the plans start becoming something you can actually see, and everything from here depends on getting this part right. A lot of prep goes into a pour like this, and it takes a solid crew to keep everything moving.

Big thanks to the teams at Johnson's Lawn Care & Landscaping, LLC and SRM Concrete for helping make pours like this one possible. We are glad to have this foundation in and ready for the next stage of the build.

Even unfinished, these pine floors add so much warmth and character to this renovation. The natural grain and variation in the boards already make the house feel more inviting. Once they’re sanded, finished, and everything else starts coming together, they’re going to be one of the best features in the whole house. Hard to beat the look of real pine flooring.
