Proud moment for our team. Taking time to encourage the next generation matters, and we’re grateful for employees who lead by example.

When students begin thinking about their future careers, they often have questions that staff members can’t always fully answer. That’s when it becomes incredibly valuable to have a strong network of former students who are willing to come back and share their experiences.

Today, Jacob Rudisill, a 2022 UCA graduate and current employee at Central Carolina Electric, stopped by campus to take care of a few things—but he also took time out of his day to invest in one of our seniors, Daniel Barrera.

Daniel has taken several electrical classes at RCC and was unsure about his next steps after graduation this spring. Jacob shared his own journey from UCA to RCC and into the workforce, giving Daniel valuable insight, practical advice, and several possible paths he could pursue after graduation.

UCA cannot thank Jacob enough for taking the time to pour into one of our students and help him navigate some important decisions about his future.

Moments like this remind us what makes our Eagle community so special.
