Annual boiler cleaning and service is essential to a safe home. This customer came home to a strong odor in the house. A check of the boiler revealed that the internal passages of the boiler were blocked solid with soot and the burner was venting inside the house. Definitely a deadly situation if not detected quickly. Annual service would prevent this situation from happening.

Went on a service call in Webster yesterday. I saw a yellow service tag hanging from a pipe. The tag said Chabot Oil Co. I look at the first entry on the tag and it said cleaned August 8, 1977 Roger and John. Those were my high school days when I worked for Roger Chabot. Hard to believe I have been working on burners for over 43 years!
