Matthews Woodcrafters- "Let us build your next family heirloom." Custom Furniture, Cabinets and Woodworking Matthews Woodcrafters was founded in 1996 by Danny Matthews. Our shop is located in Thomson, GA and is close to I-20.

After several years in law enforcement, he decided to return to his craftsman heritage. His grandfather was a blacksmith and his father mastered several mediums from custom woodworking to gunsmithing. Danny is dedicated to constantly improving his skills and knowledge of modern woodworking techniques while never losing sight of the quality of days past. Matthews Woodcrafters strives to provide old

world quality at a competive price. We use only select hardwoods and plywood in most applications and heart pine or select pine in our pine furniture. We use select treated southern yellow pine and cypress for our outdoor furniture. MDF, particle board and melamine are used only at the customer’s request. Because of our attention to detail and use of quality materials, our prices may seem slightly higher, but always remember a cheaper price is not always the best value. Delivered this table to a really neat couple yesterday in the SC Low Country. It was a great addition to their beautiful home. I can honestly say that I never have eaten a meal at a table I just delivered. Thank you Vicky and Mack for the opportunity to build it. Mack the pork loin and conversation over lunch were most enjoyable. As I've said for years, I have wonderful clients. Loving what I do... doing what I love. Now on to the next table.
