Reason 1: You can see existing tile!!

Why so Important: You’ve got to see if the existing tile is any good.
If the tile is still draining, you can still use it as part of your tile plan. With a closed trench, with something such as using a plow, you cannot see it and therefore it WILL ruin any chance of using that to your benefit.
