We are aware of a recent Facebook post regarding a pool deck project completed by Creative Concrete LLC. Because the post contains statements that do not accurately reflect what occurred, we feel it is important to provide some clarification.
We take every concern regarding our work seriously, and we are always willing to communicate with customers and work toward a reasonable resolution when an issue arises. However, some of the statements made in the recent post do not accurately reflect the circumstances.
The homeowners did not contact Creative Concrete LLC directly regarding this concern prior to making the public post. We had been communicating with the pool contractor involved in the project and were under the understanding that we would meet on site once the automatic pool-cover brackets were installed so that the situation could be properly evaluated.
The concern with the pool deck was a small area of concrete that needed to be ground down slightly to allow the automatic pool cover to fit properly. After meeting on site and evaluating the situation, we determined that this is a simple correction and are working toward getting it addressed.
We also want to clarify the claim that Creative Concrete LLC was contacted and refused to come out to address the issue. That is not what happened. The homeowner confirmed during our meeting that he thought he had contacted us, but after the fact he realized that he could not find any sent messages.
The individual who made the original Facebook post was not present at the meeting, so we were unable to discuss the concerns directly with her. Had we been contacted directly in the first place, we would have been happy to look at the issue and work toward a solution—as we have now done.
Pool projects often involve multiple contractors, products, and installations that have to work together. When an issue arises, it is important to determine the actual cause before assigning responsibility or making claims about the quality of someone's work.
We are proud of the work our team does and have built our business on quality workmanship, communication, and standing behind what we do. If there is an issue caused by our work, we will address it. At the same time, we believe every business deserves the opportunity to investigate and respond to a concern before being publicly accused of refusing to do so.
We understand that customers can become frustrated when something doesn't go exactly as expected. What we don't believe is fair is publicly portraying our company as unwilling to respond or refusing to correct an issue when we were never given the opportunity to address it directly. We simply wanted to provide the facts from our side and assure our customers and community that Creative Concrete LLC takes its reputation and its commitment to its customers seriously.
We will continue to handle our customers and our work professionally, and we appreciate everyone who has supported Creative Concrete LLC and our local business.
