Herring bone handicap ramp we built into a split level porch that we also rebuilt with herring bone floors.

I don't like to lay firebrick on edge but due to limited space we relined this 18th century fire box using the old crisp but firm brick as an insulator. Refaced the front with original brick found under the house and added a new brick veneer around the old brick. Now all tied together and sealed. All three fireboxes in this one chimney have been completely restored with original refinished mantles, completely functional and work like a charm. And I might add new independent flue liners for each firebox.

I wish I had pictures of all the work I have done over the past 60 years but most people don't care to see digging ditches, pouring concrete, busting concrete, moving thousands of brick, tons of mortar sand rocks and blocks built scaffolding up over the rooftops but just glimpse if the finished product makes it all worth the effort. Most of all I'm thankful fir all the wonderful people that trusted me to work on their homes and businesses.
