We decided on victorian style trim on this home to help achieve a custom home look and feel. This style, while being easier than using standard mitered corners, really enhanced this already sharp home.

This mantle is a bit harder to see. It's anchored the same way. We did the barnwood too.

I made the mantle for this fireplace as well as the shelving units to either side. We had to grind the stone flat where the mantle was to go ... what a mess ... but it worked out really well. It's anchored via a 4 x 4 cleat using expansion bolts

I constructed this island for the same folks I made the server for and, you guessed it, butcher block top on that too. I made the columns to serve as conduit so the electricians would have a way to run electric to the island.

This server is 5' long and 20" deep. The top is Hevea (rubber wood tree) butcher block to match their dining room table and, while we did not know the stain used on the table, it came out to a pretty good match. This was my first experience with barn door style furniture and hardware ... it went quite smoothly.

I probably should have photoshopped this one to get rid of the trash cans. This red cedar garden well is 5 foot tall, six sided and, not that it matters much, the crank actually works. It has a false bottom about 12" down so they don't have to fill it with quite so much soil for planting flowers in it.

This one is probably obvious. They were so happy with the coffee table they wanted a matching end table.
