It’s been a long time since I’ve posted or put time into a piece of art, but since we’re getting closer to welcoming our first little one (we’re 6 1/2 months pregnant!!) I decided to do a Classic Pooh design in honor of our little hunny. This one is titled “Hunny Bee”.

This practice piece is of our family dog, Izzy, and our family cat, Millie, soaking up the sun, wrapped in nostalgic striped beach towels, enjoying a nice beach day, even if neither one of them actually go to the beach. 😂 This was a fun concept to work on as practice for future pieces.

New original, baby green sea turtle piece for sale. Naming this piece “Little Life”. The journey of baby sea turtles (and all sea turtles in general) is something so beautiful and fascinating, and I think it would be so fun to get to see a hatch in person on the beach one day.

New sticker and shirt design coming down the road… as much as I enjoy and appreciate Animal Crossing and how cute it is, how about Manatee Crossing? 🥹 I’m going to name my little original character Lou after one of my favorite rescue manatees I’ve mentioned and painted on more than one occasion.

I am so honored to announce that I finally got to deliver the finished products of my biggest custom commission today to 🥳 I got to deliver not just three but four originals that get to have a home in Aqua Mart on display! I’m so grateful for this opportunity and to be supported as an aspiring local artist… and it’s so rewarding to have happy customers who are just as excited about getting art as I am about making art. I feel like each piece has a story to tell of each little (or big, in the case of the red Arowana and Red Octopus 😂) creature and I want to leave that up to everyone who gets to walk in to the store to imagine those stories and enjoy them, and to each of my customers as well. While the originals get to live in Aqua Mart, I will have prints available as well as be open to new commissions from y’all!
