In honor of the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country, our USA branches will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.

On May 13th, Christopher Short of Wurtec will be presenting to the CARTERET COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® INC on the importance of regular home elevator maintenance.

Under-maintained elevator systems create hidden risks, liability exposure, and transaction challenges.

Chris will detail how the industry is shifting from reactive service to measurable, performance-based management – and what that means for property value, safety, and long-term asset protection.

As residential construction continues to grow along the Carolina coast, understanding how these system impact buyers, sellers, and property managers has never been more important.

The workshop is open to members and non-members and will be held on 5/13 from 11:30a to 1:00p in the CCAR office training room in Morehead City, NC. Full details at the link below.

The second annual NATIONAL ELEVATOR MECHANICS DAY will take place on Tuesday, May 19th.

This is an official observance which Wurtec created last year and registered with the National Day Archives. Our objective was to formally recognize and celebrate the hardworking men and women who install, service, and repair elevators.

Each of our North American branches will be handing out some snacks and giveaways on the 19th, so stop in if you're local!

We also encourage you to honor the elevator mechanics in your life in your own way.

We're excited to introduce Todd Whitacre as the new branch manager of Wurtec Dallas!

Todd comes from a background in the construction industry. His leadership and expertise will be vital in providing sales and operational support to Wurtec's continued growth in the region.

This was a team accomplishment made possible by the combined efforts of leadership and hardworking associates at every Wurtec branch.

We marked the occasion with a pizza party at each of our branches.

The busy spring trade show season continues, with the inaugural IUEC Global Safety Summit taking place at Paris Las Vegas next week.

Our application engineer Jeff Wagenhauser and Senior Product Specialist Mark Yako will be representing Wurtec in booth 112.
