Always keep your bedroom doors SHUT!

This morning MTFPD burned a structure donated for training purposes. In preparation, one bedroom door was closed. An hour into the fire, the outcome of that very simple fire safety intervention is still evident. CLOSE BEFORE YOU DOZE. We are proud to support our local fire fighters by sponsoring Educational Seminars provided by the Lucas County Fire Chief's Association.
This year we had a really incredible line up of key speakers discussing health and wellness! They touched on facts and statistics on exposure(s) to Cancer and how to better protect and prevention.
We also heard compelling and powerful testimony of how they fight more than just fires.
Attached are some warning signs that would apply to any situation but geared specifically toward Fireman.
