Asphalt Paving Crew Operator / Laborer

Buck Brothers is looking for an Equipment Operator / Laborer to join our Asphalt Paving Crew.

Previous asphalt paving or equipment operating experience is preferred, but we are more interested in finding someone with the right work ethic, attitude, personal qualities, and willingness to learn. We can teach our equipment and processes to the right person.

What You’ll Be Doing

Our paving crew installs new asphalt on residential and commercial projects, including driveways, parking lots, and roadways. This position involves a mix of equipment operation and hands-on labor.

Typical work includes:

• Operating asphalt rollers and other paving equipment
• Assisting with paver operations
• Raking and working asphalt by hand
• Shoveling and cleaning around the paving operation
• Helping establish clean joints and edges
• Assisting with handwork and tight areas
• Supporting the crew wherever needed to keep the paving operation moving
• Performing daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance

Asphalt Equipment Operator/Laborer

Buck Brothers is looking for an Equipment Operator/Laborer to join our Asphalt Prep Crew.

Previous construction or equipment operating experience is preferred, but we are more interested in finding someone with the right personal qualities, work ethic, attitude, and willingness to learn. We can teach the equipment and our processes to the right person.

Our Asphalt Prep Crew prepares commercial and residential projects for new asphalt.

The work includes:

•Removing existing asphalt and pavement
•Excavating and preparing areas for new asphalt
•Grading and placing stone
•Preparing driveways, parking lots, and other paved areas
•Operating skid steers with various attachments
•Operating mini excavators
•Operating asphalt rollers (on stone base)
•Assisting with asphalt milling machines
•Performing general labor and helping the crew wherever needed
