Did you know every clothes dryer needs a dedicated outlet to run safely and efficiently?

👕 Electric Dryers
✅ Require a 240 volt, 30 amp dedicated circuit
✅ Newer homes use a 4 prong outlet (NEC standard since 1996)
⚠️ Older homes may have a 3 prong outlet — the cord must match the outlet

🔥 Gas Dryers
✅ Use a standard 120 volt outlet for controls and motor
✅ Often shared with the washing machine

🚨 Important Safety Tip:
Never attempt to convert a 4 prong dryer to a 3 prong cord unless you fully understand the electrical risks. Incorrect wiring can lead to shocks, fire hazards, or damaged appliances.
