Vision started 18yrs ago with Zero customers, $500 in a bank account and a push mower. There was a young man that was mentally and emotionally ready to make this industry different, to step it up a few notches. His background was Sales, marketing & Management. Never once did he use any of the equipment that he would now be making a living with and from. He took what he learned and started cold calling residential homes, commercial plazas and marketing the heck out of the name “VISION”. It was hard, tough, discouraging, tiring, disappointing, challenging and yet it was the hunt as he calls it that kept him focused on the goal. Each year the company slowly grew, 10 customers, 30,60,100,120,150,200,300,450. He kept his goals to himself and worked 6am-10pm 6 days a week and even on Sundays. There was no turning back, the Vision of what he first had of Vision wasn’t getting thrown off track for anything or anyone. The team that surrounded him was excellent but some were not good hearted. Stealing, cheating, lying and backstabbing went on for years. The ups and downs still never got him off track. The blizzard snow storms while employees quit mid shift still didn’t get him off track, the breakdowns, mistreatment of equipment from employees still didn’t get him off track. 18yrs later he’s still as focused as he was on day 1. The story is incredible and his customer acquisition process is something you couldn’t learn at the best schools in the country. “There’s always a system and strategy” the owner Rocco A. Guadagna says. “If you want to grow a business you must be willing to do what everyone else isn’t and if that requires you to work 80-90-100hrs a week so be it. Never quit, never give in, never speak negatively and always help bring out the best in people around you”
