Good morning. February 22, 2023. It is time for a new direction for me. RCW Construction LLC is now retired. I'd like to thank everyone for their contributions over the years; friends, clients, vendors, former employees. You've all been great and I've learned a lot from you. Can't wait to see what's next! Goodbye.

Replaced an old, rotting builders porch rail with a lovely new Fortress AL13 aluminum post and rail system in white from Lumber One. It's less bulky in appearance and far more durable given how our weather treats wood around here, especially wood that is in contact with the ground or concrete.

A small deck and firepit to add some useful space and a little texture to an otherwise bland "Builders Special" patio. I really like the simplicity of it and so do the clients. Lumber, Decking, rails and Deckorators balusters from Lumber One, fire ring, stone and gravel from Menard's. Wood finish is Dark Oak, TWP - much better than traditional stains.

We came into this job after another contractor bailed with their money and left them with the original floor demo and nothing else. it was so out of level that our only recourse was to create a new sub-floor on top of the original framing. Once that was accomplished (many days later) we were able to provide them a very solid base with which to create their vision. We're very proud of the work we did on this one and are very happy with how pleased the whole family was at the end.
The house was built in 1929 and is beautiful. To be able to add to that beauty is a great pleasure. The floor grid is Brazilian Tiger Wood, the tile is solid marble. We restored the original radiators and covers and completely re-worked the bathroom with marble floors and wainscot.

A bathroom that was full of mold and mildew and dark and depressing. Then the Onyx Collection fairies came in and brightened the whole place up! I can't say enough good things about The Onyx Collection products, we love designing and installing it!
