Well, once again, the Kansas City Chiefs are going to The Super Bowl. And, once again, I'm giving my employees the following day off. Again, if the Chiefs win the Super Bowl, they will get that day off with pay. (I'll handle any emergency calls) Go Chiefs!
I'm challenging other HVAC or Plumbing shops to do the same! Let's make it a movement!!!
On a serious note, I read an article a few years ago ( can't remember the exact source) that pointed out that Super Bowl Sunday is the number one day for domestic violence in the United States. And the day after that was the number one day in The United States for people to call in sick. So folks, remember that it is, after all, just a game. So don't hit your loved ones (even if they're Raiders fans) deal with it if it don't go the way you want. And if your boss ain't as cool as me and expects you to work the next day. Soldier up and march your ass in to work.
