Safety is a big part of what we do at KBS, and continued training helps keep it top of mind.

Last week, we welcomed Evergy to our All Company Training for an engaging electrical safety presentation. Their Hot Trailer provided a live demonstration of electrical hazards, giving our team a firsthand look at the importance of staying alert and making safe decisions on the jobsite.

A big thank you to the Evergy team for sharing their time and knowledge with us. It was a great learning opportunity and another reminder of why we make safety a priority every day!

As Workforce Development Month wraps up, we’re proud to recognize our KBS apprentices and the work they put into learning their craft.

Through our State of Kansas certified apprenticeship program, they gain hands-on experience, training and mentorship while building skills that will serve them throughout their careers. Investing in our people strengthens our team, our industry and the quality of work we provide our clients.

A little rain couldn’t stop the fun at this year’s KBS Wiffle Bash! ☔⚾

The field was wet, the games were a little messy, but we had a great time bringing our industry partners together while raising funds for an incredible cause, The Battle Within.
A big thank you to all the teams who joined us and helped make the day a success!

Musselman & Hall Contractors, LLC | IMA Financial Group, Inc. | Ridgeline Kansas City | HTK Architects | dahmercontractinggroup | Jayhawk Fire Sprinkler | Kissick Construction Company | Gibbens Drake Scott, Inc.

It’s always a good day when we get to spend time with the next generation of builders!

Team KBS had a great time visiting construction management students at both Fort Hays State and Pitt State—talking construction, sharing a little about life at KBS and connecting with students as they look toward what’s next.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to visit with us. We’re excited to see where your careers take you—and hope to see a few familiar faces at KBS along the way!

We’re just a few days away from the 3rd Annual KBS Wiffle Bash! ⚾
Most of our game slots are filled, but we still have a little room on the field! If any of our industry partners want to grab a team and join us this Friday, we’d love to have you.

It’s a fun day of wiffle ball for an even better cause — supporting The Battle Within and the incredible work they do for veterans and first responders.

Grab one of the remaining spots here: https://givebutter.com/KBS_Wiffle_Bash. Come play some ball and help us make a difference!

Happy National Tradesmen Day! 🦺 We dropped off personalized KBS buckets, filled with drinks and snacks, to our tradesmen out on the job sites as a way to say thank you. We’re grateful for the hard work and dedication they bring to our projects every day!

Each month, team members come together for an in-house Lunch & Learn. These sessions are focused on a variety of topics, giving our team a chance to share what we know, learn from one another and keep building our knowledge together.

It’s a simple way we continue investing in our people — and the knowledge they bring to KBS every day!
