We’ve been there. Graystone used subcontractors at one point because we had more work than our employees could handle. It went well for a bit… and then the wheels fell off. Why? Because a lot of subs care about one thing: getting paid for that one job, not the company’s reputation long-term.

Before you hire anyone, ask:
✅ Employees or subs?
✅ Background checks for the crew?
✅ Proof of insurance (liability + workers’ comp)?
✅ Who is responsible if something fails in 2 years?
