Here to answer any questions about plants, Landscape Design, various fruits/veggies, practices and what not that fall within the area of horticulture and agriculture. I will take on anything from plant identification to plant troubleshooting to design questions. Ask me about:

I thought this page would be a good way for me to help people with similar questions. I have worked on an orchard most of my life, then I went to school and ended up in the Nursery business for a few years. Now I am helping manage large scale blueberry production in Hancock & Washington Counties for Cherryfield Foods, Inc.

Look at all the Monarch butterflies on this 'Miss Ruby' BUTTERFLY Bush! I counted at least 15 on the one plant.

My dog, Miss Anya is a smart husky puppy, she is doing some reading on trees and shrubs to keep her mind sharp and testing me to keep mine sharp as well!

In honor of National Star Wars Day, I thought I would bring your attention to the fact that my dad, Captain Jack, had a cameo in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. (And if you look closely in the original Star Wars: A New Hope before that in the Mos Eisley Cantina!) Upon retirement from the spacefaring chapter of his life, he converted his space helmet into a full head respirator for applying certain products on the orchard so he didn't have to shave his beard in order to wear a traditional respirator! May the Fourth be with you!

Estabrook's gave you a look at Petunia 'Night Sky'. This is it's sister variety Petunia 'Pink Sky' which is even newer! A bright pink background with white blotches in the foreground! A gorgeous addition of color!
