That’s a wrap for today at Hoffmann’s Landscape Construction! 🌙

We’ve sent the guys home to get some well-deserved sleep and will be back at it tomorrow morning bright and early at 3 AM. We’re planning to wrap up all of our customers tomorrow late afternoon into the evening. Remember we have not done any cottages unless you call.

Thank you so much for your patience and continued support. We truly have the most amazing customers! And a huge shoutout to our incredible employees — we couldn’t do it without you. 💪

❄️❄️❄️ Update ❄️❄️❄️

Our crews have made progress and have started on our residential customers at this time. That being said, it’s going to be a slow process, but I assumed you’d appreciate the update. The high winds and drifting will continue to pose a problem. Travel is not advised, so please stay home and stay safe.

Update from Sheriff Miller!

We have been advised that the highway crews are pulling the plow trucks off the roads at this time because of conditions. That being the case, we may be unable to reach you for some time if you become stuck on the roadways, so please refrain from travel until the storm passes and they can safely plow the roadways. We do have two of our officers on snowmobiles that will respond to emergent calls only as they can. All other calls will remain holding until the roads can be cleared.

I will also add, there doesn’t need to be snow falling to have blizzard condition’s.

Hoffmann’s Landscape Construction has been out since 3:00 AM, and crews are continuing to work through Storm Elsa.

Road conditions remain extremely dangerous. Many roads are still impassable, and heavy drifting is making travel even more difficult. This will be a long process—cleanup will take several days. I hope everyone took all the warnings and advice and prepared to shelter in place.

Driveways that we would normally clear with trucks cannot be serviced that way right now.

The snow piles at the ends of driveways are too large to push with standard equipment and will require skid steers to remove.

Even large commercial equipment, including graders, are getting stuck in the current conditions. Marinette has pulled all their plow trucks due to dangerous conditions. They have two officers on snowmobiles trying to respond to emergencies.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as our crews work as quickly and safely as possible.

AVOID ALL unnecessary travel and stay safe! The plow guys can not see you!
