This adorable home had a very small landing at the front door, as well as a narrow, unwelcoming pathway.

Our goal was to add depth to the courtyard by adding a front porch that spanned the entire width. A curved pathway with added stamping and staining also added warmth. The beautiful plants and stones also add texture, color and visual interest.

The ornamental tree here is called a Robinia 'twisty baby'. It's one of my favorite small, ornamental trees to use as a focal point. The branches are very unique as they twist and turn unpredictably. And in the late spring, it's covered in beautiful hanging clusters of white flowers.

I just love how this front porch area is so welcoming now and adds beautiful curb appeal to these wonderful client's beautiful home. 😍 🌿🌳

A forgotten water fountain, hidden in overgrown shrubs proved to be the perfect focal point. The homeowners didn't want make it a functioning fountain again, so I saw an opportunity to bring it back to life in a new way.

We drilled holes for drainage, added irrigation, and planted beautiful succulents that will fill in with loads of color and spill over the edges. Cutting back the large shrubbery, and adding small trees and plants to frame the new succulent planter.

What once was something lost in the background, became my favorite feature of this project!

I feel so lucky to work with my amazing clients and see their joy when the yard of their dreams comes to life!

This was such a fun project. This front yard was looking tired and lacking character and curb appeal. We added loads of color and texture with new plants, boulders, flagstone step stones and rock.

I've just been taking a (long) break from posting since I have two toddlers now! Life is crazy! But good! My babies are my world. You'll see more of them in my posts 🥰

I love planting day! 🪴

Most of my clients will request me to come on this day to ensure the placement of the plants is exactly how we've envisioned it. And I love seeing all the beautiful plant babies at their new homes! 🌱
