When a damaged hillside along busy Sandy Hill Road in Penn Township needed immediate attention after deteriorating railroad ties were compromised, J&J Lawnscapes was called to restore safety, function, and appearance.

Our team removed failing railroad ties, stabilized the hillside, and finished the project with a professionally blended rock installation designed to both function properly and elevate the property's appearance. We also completed tree trimming and refreshed surrounding landscape beds with fresh mulch to bring the entire property back together.

Another property brought back to life and ready for the Memorial Day weekend. After a brutal winter, record snowfall, harsh conditions, and heavy deer damage took a toll on many of this client’s shrubs, it was time to restore beauty, privacy, and curb appeal.

For this project, we installed beautiful 6 to 7-foot Green Giants along with a variety of premium Boxwoods to rebuild the landscape and give this property a refreshed, polished look heading into the season.

Another unique project in the books for Meadowlark Nature and Art Park.

For this project, J&J Lawnscapes was asked to design and create a one of a kind sidewalk connection from the parking area to the main building. After developing the vision and layout for the project, we brought in 1985 Concrete to support our design and help execute the installation with the level of craftsmanship the project deserved.

From the initial planning stages to the finishing touches, this project was completed with creativity, precision, and attention to detail every step of the way. The final result not only met expectations, but exceeded them, creating a clean and welcoming pathway that fits perfectly within the atmosphere of Meadowlark Nature and Art Park.

This project started after an in ground swimming pool installation led to a hillside failure behind the pool area due to poor excavation, improper backfilling, and inadequate soil compaction during construction. Over time, the hillside began to slide, creating a serious concern for the homeowner and the overall stability of the area surrounding the pool.

That’s where Lentz Home Maintenance brought us in as their subcontractor to handle the hardscaping and retaining wall portion of the repair plan after the site was reinforced with sonotubes and properly compacted soil.

Our team executed the project correctly from start to finish, building a retaining wall designed for long term stability, support, drainage, and a clean finished appearance that completely transformed the property.
What started as a stressful situation for the homeowner became a positive outcome just in time for summer pool season. Safe, functional, visually appealing, and built to last.
