A custom home should feel custom from the very beginning. 🏡

That means listening carefully, understanding what matters most, and making sure the home reflects the people who will actually live in it.

For us, one of the best compliments we can receive is hearing that a homeowner felt heard, comfortable, and confident throughout the process.

Because at the end of the day, it isn’t about building our version of your home.

It’s about building yours. 🤝✨

🏔️ The most special part about building in the Upstate is what happens long after we hand over the keys.

Driving through The Cliffs and passing homes we built years ago never really gets old. 🏡

You remember the plans, the decisions, the challenges — and the day the homeowners finally walked into a finished home that, not long before, existed only on paper.

We’re proud of the homes we build, but the relationships that come from building them mean just as much. 🤝

And every once in a while, driving past one is a pretty good reminder of both.

🏡 Who decided your perfect home had to be so serious?

When we were kids, I’m sure we can all remember something we dreamed of having in our home someday.

Maybe it was:
🎬 A home theater
⛳ A putting green
🏊 A pool in the backyard so all your friends could come over
🚤 A house right on the water where you could take the boat out and catch the biggest fish in the lake

The funny thing is that, as kids, we thought we wanted these things simply because they were cool.

Years later, you realize there was something else they all had in common:

👉 They were meant to be enjoyed together.

- Movie nights with the family.
- Putting contests with friends.
- Summer afternoons around the pool.
- Early mornings out on the lake.

That’s one of the best parts of building a custom home.
You get the opportunity to create a home around the way you actually want to live — and maybe even include a few things that would make your 10-year-old self think, “This is pretty darn cool!”

Because a great home doesn’t have to be serious just because you grew up.

It can make room for a little fun, too. And more importantly, for the people you want to share it with. 🏡✨

Meet Scott Kegley 👋

As Fairview’s Director of Purchasing and Vendor Relations, Scott plays an essential role in keeping our projects on track from pre-construction through the build phase. With more than 20 years of experience in wholesale construction, he brings extensive knowledge of material sourcing, vendor negotiation, and cost control to every project. Working closely with our Sales Director, Project Estimator, and Project Managers, Scott helps ensure costs, timelines, and Fairview’s high standards for quality remain aligned throughout the building process.

Scott is also an active member of the Home Builders Association of Greenville, where he serves as Membership Chair and was honored with the Richard B. Ashmore Associate Member of the Year award for his contributions to the local homebuilding community.

Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his family and getting out on the golf course to enjoy the beauty of the Upstate. Thanks for all you do, Scott!

There’s so much to love about this primary bath, from the warm wood vanity and oversized pendants to the freestanding tub and walk in shower. 🛁 It’s the kind of space that makes getting ready in the morning feel a little more luxurious.
