It's been awhile since I made a post, hurt my back falling down stairs so I've been off for a little while.i finished that siding job, everything had to be fixed almost every single window and door had rot coming out of it but all done and client is very happy ,no more water coming in.. now I'm on to this bathroom remodel as you can see the floor was pretty bad all the tile was just sitting there they had two layers of OSB on there as I got down to the main deck layer turns out it was just half inch and not three quarter so I'm having to replace the entire bathroom deck so that the floor is same height. They had toilet fl**ge facing the wrong way and two spacers on top of it now that's all cleaned up back down to just one fl**ge facing the correct way being supported by a three-quarter inch floor like it's supposed to be..If your looking for not having to deal with multiple trades and alot of people in your home.with unmatched skill level now is the time to give BIG DOG a call to get put in the schedule for your project for I am booked solid until spring. have a great holiday season

Contractor took out windows and sliders never properly flash them as you can see in the picture what it looked like so I had to reflash retape everything get it done properly and then reside definitely like the look of it now than what it was before . Not just from the mistakes but from the style of how it was done much cleaner look

Just an FYI for the average homeowner getting work done by a contractor. This is what happens when windows and decks are not properly flashed and with this particular product proper caulking as, you can see serious Rott sets in. So the fix is to take off all the siding, repair the rot, properly tape off Windows ,install z metal/flashing where needed. Please note the piece of decking board that holds a 44 ft deck to the house ,a main bearing point supposedly a ledger board which is supposed to be connected to the house, so if you see this I would ask for your money back.

Started a new project, house had new windows and doors installed , had a difference in the siding so i have to tear it down and redo it. Going to give it a nice clean look a little different than what was there before. as you can see they had some water issues deciding was not done correctly before no flashing on the deck so water poured past the siding and on to the interior wall rotting the OSB and the header. Luckily the client has a master Carpenter instead of just a siding person, so I'm able to deal with the siding the right way and the rotten framing and anything else that comes along ,that is the benefit when you hire BIG DOG Construction. I'm working for a contractor on this job but if you are dealing with a similar situation or something new, give me a call.

Clients had a 94 sqft laundry room, entryway, put in a drop ceiling and half a dozen l.e.d.s. super happy they're not looking at open ceiling anymore.a nice couple who appreciates a master carpenter, and with not dealing with a lot of people coming into their home.

Just showing 1 of 5 doors I did yesterday. Fabricating the casing, installed the hinges,. Doorstop everything but make the door, please note the even reveal around the door that is this gap in between the door and the casing for those of you who don't know. When you have a door installed, this is what it's supposed to look like. If it doesn't stay when you let it go. It was set wrong.
If it doesn't have a even reveal it was set wrong. Remember when you have a project skill is the most important thing.

Finally finished this crawl space Put of delays and a back injury but we got it in. My client being very smart hired Big Dog Construction To help my client build there dream home , not wanting to deal with a contractor and athe last blocks in today. Had to deal with lot bunch of people. Being able to do all the trades again. Is saving my client time and money.
