The garden trail and boardwalk surrounding the labyrinth at The Botanic Garden at Historic Barns Park is officially open!

Community projects like this hold a special place in our hearts. While much of our work serves businesses, municipalities, and homeowners, projects like this create spaces that everyone can enjoy. Knowing that hundreds of people will walk this boardwalk for years to come is incredibly rewarding, and we're proud to have played a part in creating a place that brings people together and enriches our community.

Fun Fact: This area is known as Judith's Healing Garden, where every plant has medicinal properties.🌿

Happy Anniversary, Andy🥳

Since joining RCI as our full-time Warehouse Manager in 2024, Andy has become an essential part of our daily operations. Not only is he our full-time fleet mechanic, but he also inventories and repairs our tools and equipment, maintains our buildings, picks up and delivers materials to job sites, and can even be found pouring concrete when needed!

He is truly a jack of all trades and is willing to jump in and help wherever he’s needed. We appreciate everything you do, Andy, and are grateful to have you on our team. Here’s to another great year with RCI!!

Our crew arrived extra early today to pour a 1,900 sq. ft. concrete floor for a residential new build.

Projects like this are a great reminder that the strongest foundations are the result of skilled craftmanship and a crew that's committed to doing the job right.

Happy Earth Day! 🌎

While commercial construction is our primary focus, many don’t know that RCI also specializes in building boardwalks and bridges for nature preserves and land conservancies across Northern Michigan.

These projects are especially meaningful to us. They require a thoughtful approach—one that prioritizes protecting the surrounding flora and fauna while minimizing disruption to the natural environment. Our goal is to leave the earth as undisturbed as possible, ensuring these ecosystems remain intact for generations to come.

Even as developers, we take pride in creating spaces that balance accessibility with preservation—allowing communities to experience and enjoy nature without compromising it.

We all have a role to play in protecting our planet, and it often starts with small, intentional choices.
