We are proud to have been given the opportunity to support this young lady by purchasing her 2026 Fair Project.
For the last 11 years, Alta Alpers has been dedicating her time and energy in 4-H. This year may have been her last year showing a steer, but only because her time is needed elsewhere. For her senior year, she will be attending the Interlochen Arts Academy, also known as the top arts high school in the country. If you know Alta at all, you know that she is one of the most talented artists. You also would know that she has a work ethic like no other. When she was originally accepted into the Arts Academy last year, she began trying to raise money to make it possible for herself. After a few months of working towards her goal, she was unable to raise enough money, meaning she would no longer be able to attend the Academy, but she never gave up her dream. Because of that, she was given a second opportunity. She attended many events where she sold her own artwork, with all the proceeds going to her tuition. This time, she made it happen for herself. All of this goes to show you the kind of person that Alta is. She never gave up on her passion for art or her dream of attending the Interlochen Arts Academy, even when it felt impossible. With that kind of determination, she is going to go far.
Alta, we want to thank you for being the dedicated, passionate, hardworking, young woman that you are. We know you will succeed at everything you do because you have proved that to us already. We believe in you!
