Sunterra Transportation is looking for 2 experienced and reliable Transportation Dispatchers to act as a communication point and assist with daily operations. This position will require in-office training in St. Petersburg, FL for an undetermined amount of time with a possibility of switching to a remote position.

• Morning to afternoon shift and an afternoon to evening shift. 6 days a week.
• Morning Shift: 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday -Saturday
• Afternoon Shift: 1:30p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday -Saturday
• $17 - $23/hour depending on experience
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Working with our Dispatch Software program on a daily basis
• Scheduling and dispatching drivers, work crews, vehicles or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules or immediate needs
• Relaying information such as work orders or other messages to and from work crews, field inspectors, supervisors or emergency personnel
• Using telephones, two-way radios or text messages to contact employees
• Speaking with supervisors or customers to resolve problems
• Preparing work orders for crew or receiving work orders from work crews
• Overseeing communications within company assigned territories
QUALIFICATIONS
• Excellent customer service skills
• Highly self-motivated to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Geographical knowledge of service areas or map reading skills
• Demonstrated expertise with Word, Excel, and other MS Office suite applications
• Strong verbal skills to communicate clearly and effectively in English and Spanish a plus
• Previous dispatching, project management or schedule coordinating experience is a plus
