Before and after!

Another landscape transformation completed by Rauch Landscaping! 🌿🪨

This project wasn’t just about improving curb appeal — it was about fixing drainage issues and making sure the retaining wall was built to last!

Here’s what we tackled:

✅ Removed and rebuilt the existing retaining wall with a proper compacted base and improved drainage

✅ Installed new solid PVC drainage piping to properly redirect water away from the area

✅ Extended the existing landscape bed to create a larger, more defined landscaping area

✅ Added 1 yard of river rock for a clean, finished look

✅ Planted 2 beautiful Limelight Hydrangeas to bring fresh color to the landscape

Another cleanup in the books! 🌿✂️

This one included:
• Trimming and edging back the ground cover
• Hand pulling w**ds throughout the creek drainage bed
• Spraying the entire drainage area to help keep the w**ds from coming right back
• Giving an old viburnum a much-needed trim and cleanup

And of course… I got completely finished, packed everything up, and realized I forgot to take the after pictures. 🤦‍♂️

So you’ll just have to trust me — the after pictures looked great.

✔️ Added 4 Knock Out roses for some new color
✔️ Finished it off with 2 yards of premium double-shredded black mulch

• Applied RM43 to eliminate existing w**d growth
• Installed Preen to help prevent future w**ds
• Installed commercial-grade landscape fabric for long-term w**d suppression
• Created a clean, professional hard edge around the landscape beds
• Trimmed the Japanese yews, trees, and additional shrubs
• Finished it all off with 7 yards of premium triple-shredded black mulch

Another front yard brought back to life. 🌿🔥

This one was a complete landscape refresh from top to bottom.

✔️ Full bed clean-out and de-w**ding
✔️ Installed 6 Hydrangeas
✔️ Planted 3 Rose Bushes for season-long color
✔️ Added a beautiful Jane Magnolia as the new focal point
✔️ Fresh black mulch throughout all landscape beds

The difference speaks for itself. What started as overgrown beds is now a clean, polished landscape that will continue to fill in and look even better each season.

I love taking older landscapes and giving them a fresh, updated look that adds curb appeal and makes homeowners excited to pull into their driveway again.

My Father’s Day gift this year? Not a grill, not a golf outing, not a nap…

A truckload of soil and rock!

Created a future fire pit area, installing a stone pathway, and planting 9 Green Giant Arborvitae to continue building out the backyard privacy screen. Still plenty left to do, but it’s starting to come together exactly how I envisioned it. Fun to work on your own house every once in a while.

Out with the old, in with the new!

We removed the bulky, rotting mulch and gave these beds a fresh new look with premium triple-shredded mulch. We also added a river rock border around the front of the beds to create a clean, crisp, and luxurious finish.

The transformation turned out great and instantly boosted the curb appeal of the home!
